Diversity Group At The Workplace Googles Case Analysis
STEP 4: Group Work
DIRECTIONS:
- Also include a brief description of the situation (what is happening? What are the facts?), and provide context for the reader. Think of this as issue that the reader has to solve, a fact pattern that a manager or HR personnel has to address.
The remainder of the case should provide the reader with sufficient information to but not reveal what actually happened in the real case do. (Do not give away the outcome!)
The conclusion should relate back to the opening hook and can even be in the form of a question.
Prepared Questions: In addition to the case summary, the Group will need to prepare up to 8 questions that can generate discussion with another group., as a group, write a one-to-two page case summary of the chosen critical incident to be shared with another group. Write in a neutral tone that does not make the best solution obvious to the reader. Although the case should be based on facts, to prevent other classmates from simply researching the Internet to find out what really happened, use pseudonyms so that the true identity of the decision maker, chief character(s) or the organization is known only to the Group and Instructor.- The case summary should start with a statement or a quote that peaks the reader’s interest and motivates them to read the rest of your case. Be creative!
