Discussion Prompts
Write a letter to prospective students for the next incoming class to help them cope with the stress they will feel during their first session at Arizona College of Nursing. When you are writing your letter, please recall the concerns you had during your first session. After you write the letter, please answer the following questions:
- Would you have found it helpful to read a letter like this at the beginning of your first session?
- How helpful is a letter versus a face-to-face meeting with a mentor? Which would you prefer?
- How can Arizona College of Nursing do a better job of helping incoming students with the stresses of college life and our accelerated program?
