In Module 1, you selected a current event video to analyze and created an outline. In this activity, you will draft your rhetorical analysis using the same video selected in Module 1. When analyzing an argument’s rhetorical features, you want to discuss how well its components work to reach an audience. This paper will specifically focus on the three appeals: ethos, pathos, and logos.

For this part of the assignment, continue creating your rhetorical analysis by developing your first draft.

  • Use the outline created in Module 1 to guide your writing.
  • This assignment should be 2–3 double-spaced pages, and in APA (7th ed.) format. The page count does not include the title or reference pages.
  • Include 1 expert source for each supporting evidence paragraph.
  • Be sure to cite your resources in the text, as well as on your reference page.
  • Include a proper title page and references page formatted according to APA 7 guidelines.
  • You will NOT be submitting your rough draft for this assignment. Instead, you will be submitting the Tutor.com feedback report to show that you submitted your rough draft to Tutor.com.
