Break up into your groups and build a script to role play where the sponsor is adamant about making a change to the requirements of your IT project that will not provide any benefit and slow down the timeline. Divide up the roles in the group so that you have a sponsor, a Business Analyst and other stakeholders.
Have at least one stakeholder agree with the sponsor while the others agree with the Business Analyst.
Make sure the stakeholder that agrees with the sponsor has a reputation of being stubborn wanting their results no matter the cost.
Roleplay your scenario in your group once for practice and the present it to the class.
Be prepared to answer questions from the audience.
