The two subheadings I will be discussing are the Spleen and The Lymph Nodes. The Spleen initiates an immune response, filters and removes bacteria from the bloodstream. The codes for the spleen are 38100-38200 and they are divided into categories. Lymph Nodes filter substances that travel through the lymphatic fluid and they contain white blood cells that help fight infection and disease. Lymph Nodes they are divided into different categories of procedures such as incision, excision, resection and introduction.
