Lesson 5

Follow the instructions. Write a journal about this 3 ideas: the only way to find genuine knowledge is to doubt everything that suggests itself as true (Descartes); to think and doubt is to exist (Descartes); human experience and human knowledge is limited to the phenomenal realm (Kant).

• Describe how each idea contributes toward a better understanding of life

• Describe how each idea has relevance and application towards leading a better life.
